Destination weddings & renewals

Antigua, planned by someone who knows the island.

Antigua has a beach for every day of the year and one of the simplest marriage-license processes in the Caribbean. Years of working on the island mean trusted venues, florists and officiants, and a planner who understands both the resort and the local side.

We coordinate guest travel and room blocks, guide your license paperwork, build the on-island vendor team, and are there with you for the celebration.

Your planner

Hello, I'm Kristel.

I've always loved planning events: dreaming up the vision, solving the puzzle of every detail, and watching it all come together on the day.

In 2023, I planned nearly all of my own wedding, from the venue and vendors to the timeline and the finishing touches. It was one of the happiest projects of my life, and it showed me how joyful the planning can feel when someone thoughtful is guiding it.

I know how to make a budget work beautifully. I'll help you stay within yours, and often come in under it, without giving up the details that make your day feel like you.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I'm blessed with a wonderful family who fill my life with love, laughter and plenty of reasons to celebrate, and I bring that same warmth to every couple I work with.

Today I live in Fountain Inn and plan weddings and vow renewals across Upstate South Carolina and in Antigua, an island I know and love. I plan every celebration personally, so you'll always know exactly who to call.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How far ahead should we book?

For full-service planning, 9 to 14 months before your date is ideal. Partial planning usually begins about 6 months out, and day-of coordination 2 to 3 months out. Peak Saturdays in spring and fall fill first, so reach out as soon as you have a date in mind.

Our venue has a coordinator. Do we still need you?

Venue coordinators look after the venue: the room, their staff and their timeline. We work for you, managing every outside vendor, your timeline, your family and the details from the first look to the last dance.

How do payments work?

A non-refundable retainer reserves your date when you sign. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your celebration. Every payment is listed in your planning portal, alongside the payment calendar for your other vendors.

We live out of town. Can you still plan our wedding?

Yes. Full-service planning suits couples who live elsewhere: we tour venues for you by video, meet vendors in person and keep everything organized in one online portal.

Do we need paperwork for a vow renewal in Antigua?

No. A vow renewal is a symbolic ceremony, so no marriage license is needed. For a legal wedding in Antigua there is no residency or waiting period; you apply for the license in St. John's after you arrive, and we guide you through it.
